FAQ

“The download is corrupted! It’s giving me an error! You suck!”

The files work just fine. 🙂

Sometimes files get corrupted when you download them. Often, though, this problem happens on Macs when they’re dealing with very large files (larger than 4GB). If that’s the case, apparently using The Unarchiver will do the trick.

“But I’m on a Windows computer and I can’t get the files to work! What gives?”

This seems to be a new problem, but thankfully there’s still an easy fix! Try downloading 7-Zip and using it to extract the files instead.

“What can I use these reference photos for? Can I use them commercially?”

Just about anything you want. Use them for personal or commercial projects without any attribution required (though it’s always appreciated if you like what we’re doing).
You are not allowed to resell or repackage these photos, though. Because that’s a dick move.
Most folks use them to study art, as elements in matte paintings, or to send postcards to their grandmothers. Whatever works for you.

“Is using reference in my art cheating?”
